Return policy

Return policy


Our goal is to see every customer happy with the purchase from AmberExpert.com.
Please contact us if there are any problems, issues or concerns about your order.
We traditionally allow extended returns for the holiday period, that’s why any items delivered between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31 can be returned before January 31st.



  • 1. If for any reason at all you are not satisfied with your purchase, please send it back to us within 15 days for a refund or exchange.

        If you cannot wear specific jewelry pieces due to Health or Safety reasons (e.g. allergies or safety at work place)
        we cannot exchange or refund such jewelry (unless the item has defects).


  • 2. We reserve up to 15 days for refunding a returned purchase and up to 30 days for exchange or part-exchange.

  • 3. Please note that you are fully responsible for safe return of purchased goods and for all additional shipping costs.
        Shipping/insurance charges are non-refundable unless the return is the result of our error.

  • 4. Once an item has been shipped we are unable to hold or cancel the order, arising shipping/insurance charges are not refundable.

  • 5. Please follow these steps to return your purchase:
  •     5.1 Simply let us know by e-mail (as soon as possible) within 15 days of receiving your jewelry.
                Please provide following information with your request:
                You have to provide the following information:
    •                     - item name and code
    •                     - order number
    •                     - return reason
  •   5.2 Before sending the goods back to us please wait for our reply and/or additional instructions.
  •   5.3 Please follow the instructions printed on the back of the packing list.
  •   5.4 Use original packing materials for repacking the goods, enclose the packing slip.
  •   5.5 In order to avoid any risks package with returned goods shall be insured for the full value of its contents.
  •   5.6 Send the package to address specified in Return form, please.

6. If the payment for original purchase was made by check or money order we will issue a refund check. If you paid with a credit card via PayPal, 2checkout.com or moneybookers.com, we will refund the cost of goods to your credit card using the same method of payment.

7. Generally we refund returned purchases within 48 hours after receiving the goods back

8. Customized, custom-made and personalized items are non-refundable unless the item has manufacturing defects. Please see below our Custom-made items policy before placing an order.



Customized, custom-made and personalized items policy

For manufacturing handmade customized or completely custom-made products we would normally need an average time of 3-6 weeks (or sometimes longer – for time-consuming fine and precise work, e.g. Chess Sets).
Since such items are made upon request and individually for particular clients, we cannot exchange or refund custom-made jewelry or other products – unless the item has manufacturing defects.
